Message	voltmeter or ammeter are nice to have (though i prefer voltmeter myself). an accurate water temp gauge is nice to have, and i'd probably get one if i had a twin turbo. fuel pressure and air/fuel ratio are nice to have too, but probably not necessary for anything more than a diagnostic tool when things aren't running right.
